the CPS Energy service territory. Homeowners may finance a number of energy efficient measures such as heating and cooling equipment,
insulation and other approved measures for homes built prior to the year 2000.

To be eligible for financing, you must first have had an audit performed on your home through the CPS Energy Savers Program.
EFS' energy loan is designed to promote the installation of high efficiency measures, making your home more energy efficient.
Therefore, all measures to be installed must be selected from your CPS Audit Report,
and meet the minimum efficiency requirements to be eligible for financing. The following list provides you with the efficiency
requirements of all measures eligible for financing. Please see the
Eligible Measures list provided.

Once you have completed the audit and have identified installation measures from the audit report, the CPS Energy Savers
Program can help you find reliable and approved contractors that you can trust to make the most of your home energy upgrade.
Your installation contractor must also be approved by EFS for your installation to be eligible for financing.

Please note: Any homeowner with a credit history involving a foreclosure, bankruptcy, or repossession in the past 7 years will be ineligible for this loan program.
Below are four ways that you can apply for EFS financing.

A) Print the application

The credit application will allow us to proceed with your request for a loan to finance your improvement(s).B) Request an application packet by mail
You may request an application packet by mail by calling 1.866.826.4357.C) Apply online
If you have a bid from an approved contractor and are ready to submit your application, or would like to determine eligibility prior to talking with a contractor, you can fill out the credit application online.
If you apply online, a loan representitive will contact you via the email address that you provide to inform you of the loan decision. You will also be notified by mail.D) Credit pre-approval
You may call 1.888.264.4367 to get pre-approved over the phone or you can use the online pre-approval application.
In order to fully process your loan, you will need to mail or fax the following information in addition to a signed and dated copy of your credit application:
- A CPS Energy bill dated within the last 30 days, showing property address and account number
- Proof of income, such as:
- Wages: 2 current paystubs showing year-to-date earnings
- Self-Employed: Copy of tax return including all schedules
- Social Security: Current award letter
- Pension: Current pay stub or copy of bank statement indicating the direct deposit
- A copy of your audit and a copy of your final contract for work, signed and dated by both you and your program-eligible contractor, evidencing eligible improvements, efficiency ratings, and total project cost.
Please note that additional documentation, such as proof of ownership, may be required. Your Pre-Approval Letter will identify the items required to approve your loan. Requirements are subject to change at any time as deemed appropriate by program directors or Energy Finance Solutions.
